There comes a point every year, during spring time where things start to feel a little lighter again. The days get longer, getting dressed feels easier and the small parts of your routine start to shift. I thought I’d gather a collection of the things that have been putting a 'spring' in my step lately. From what I’m accessorising with, to the little things I’ve found myself coming back to.

No. 1 Simple outfits

Simple outfits are always key throughout the year in my wardrobe, however, spring feels like the perfect opportunity to bring out the classic jeans and a t-shirt again. I have one pair of blue denim jeans that carry most of my outfits, but they are the perfect fit for the majority of looks. There's something satisfying about a simple outfit that doesn't take long to put together, but ends up looking really clean and finished. It's also a perfect opportunity to add trending accessories to your outfits and let them stand out.

No. 2 Independent coffee businesses

One thing I have started to really appreciate this spring is independent, small coffee businesses. Not only does the coffee taste so much better, but it feels so much better knowing you're supporting someone's business that has been built from the ground up, not some large corporation. The places I have tried the coffee from these businesses have been at Sip & Set events - which is also another small business. I also encourage you to support these smaller businesses as well this spring and summer.

No. 3 Blue skies again

Something that just changes my mood instantly is the appearance of blue skies once again. You still get some blue sky in the winter, but when it changes to this time of year, it lasts the whole day and the sun is finally warm. Will definitely will be making the most of this over the summer.

No. 4 Vinted bargains

Following on from my other blog post about trends you can easily find secondhand, I have purchased my own accessories for this spring and summer. When purchasing items on Vinted I always try to find a good price as people may just want to get rid of their items - and it's always worth offering a lower price on pieces. Finding trends secondhand is also really beneficial to the environment and promotes sustainable shopping.

Trying to appreciate more of the smaller changes at the minute and hopefully can influence you that happiness can come from even the simplest of things even if it's just the change in seasons.
