ABOUT
The Everyday Observer is an online space for noticing the role fashion plays in everyday life. It takes a look at what we wear, how we live and the small choices that shape identity. Focussing on living without the pressure of perfection or luxury. The idea of this blog came from a place of curiosity and boredom with repeated trends, luxury fashion becoming so unattainable and a need to see real, honest people creating content. After being surrounded by conversations that included haute couture, runways and designers for years, I realised I wanted to finally have my own community of people that would resonate with the same ideas as me. I want this blog to become a space in which topics surrounding identity and everyday life are highlighted and can also be celebrated just the same as fashion weeks and the launch of new collections. The small details such as the outfit worn on repeat and the way we dress for work, for rest or for ourselves - deserve attention too. This is a space for slowing down, noticing more and recognising that style doesn’t have to be extreme or expensive to be meaningful. Right here, the everyday is not overlooked but observed and valued.
